Shazia Salam's multi-disciplinary practice investigates transmission lines involved in cultural production. Her work engages with corporate agreements, shop signages, children’s toys, and other instruments of dissemination. Playing with instruction, her works are often an invitation to interact - to touch, hold or destroy.

Shazia situates her practice in environments of work and play. She borrows from their rituals to examine constructs of being within capitalist systems.
